Privacy Policy
Comprehensive disclosures on how Toolssnap protects your digital privacy through client-side browser execution.
Your Files and Data Never Leave Your Device
At Toolssnap, we believe true privacy is built into code architecture, not just promises. Every single conversion, calculation, formatting operation, and PDF manipulation takes place entirely within your device's browser memory (RAM).
1. Important Definitions
Client-Side Processing
Execution of code directly on the user's computer or mobile device via JavaScript engines (V8 / WebAssembly), without sending data across network servers.
Blob URLs & In-Memory Data
Temporary binary objects stored in local RAM during file processing that are automatically destroyed when you close or refresh the web page.
2. Tool-by-Tool Data Protection
A detailed breakdown of how individual utility categories handle your inputs.
Finance & Calculator Tools
Calculations for Mortgage, Loan, EMI, Interest Rates, Salary, and Currency conversions are computed instantly using JavaScript formulas in your browser. None of your income, loan amounts, or property values are stored or sent across the network.
Image Conversion & Compression
When you convert, compress, crop, or resize JPG, PNG, or WebP images, the binary pixel data is processed using HTML5 Canvas Web APIs directly in local RAM. No image bytes leave your machine.
PDF Merge, Split & Conversion
PDF document operations utilize client-side WebAssembly engines (`pdf-lib` and `pdfjs-dist`). Your confidential PDFs, invoices, and documents remain stored solely in temporary browser memory (Blob URLs) and are destroyed when you close the tab.
Developer Utilities & Hashing
JSON formatting, Base64 encoding, SQL query formatting, and SHA-256 / SHA-512 cryptographic hashing use the browser’s native `window.crypto` Web API. Your API payloads and keys are never transmitted over the internet.
Text & Word Analysis Tools
Word counting, case conversion, line deduplication, and text diffing happen instantaneously in local memory. Your documents and articles are never saved or sent to external servers.
3. Data Processing Matrix
Summary of data storage across all application data types.

|---|---|---|
| PDF Files & Documents | Processed 100% in browser RAM | No (0 Bytes Saved) |
| Images & Photos | Processed via HTML5 Canvas API | No (0 Bytes Saved) |
| Text & Source Code | Formatted via local JS scripts | No (0 Bytes Saved) |
| Financial Figures | Calculated instantly in browser | No (0 Bytes Saved) |
| Cryptographic Hashes | Computed via Web Crypto API | No (0 Bytes Saved) |
| Theme Preferences | Stored in local device localStorage | No (Client Only) |
| Support Inquiries | Used exclusively to reply to user | Only for Support Email |
4. Cookies & Local Storage Policy
Toolssnap does not use tracking cookies or cross-site advertising profile cookies. We use browser `localStorage` solely to preserve your explicit user settings (such as light or dark theme mode). You can clear your browser storage at any time without impacting tool functionality.
5. Technical Security & Browser Sandboxing
Your browser executes all website scripts within a secure, isolated sandbox sandbox environment. This ensures:
- Files selected for conversion cannot be accessed by other websites or unauthorized scripts.
- Processed output files exist only in volatile RAM as Blob Object URLs.
- No persistent copies are uploaded or synchronized to remote cloud storage.
6. Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) & Open Source
To deliver maximum performance and fast page load speeds, open-source library assets (such as PDF.js render workers from jsDelivr and typography from Google Fonts) are cached via public CDNs. These CDNs serve static JavaScript and CSS files directly to your web browser.
7. Your Legal Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Under global privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA), individuals have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data. Because Toolssnap operates with a zero-server data collection model, no personal files, documents, or personal profiles exist on our servers to export or delete.
